We are committed to providing a comprehensive collection of research resources to support Union Institute & University academic programs. Faculty participation is an essential component of collection development, and the library would like to hear your purchase recommendations.
E-books: E-books can be purchased through our ProQuest and EBSCO vendors. Not every book published in physical format is also available for library e-book purchase, and some specific textbook publishers will not sell e-books to libraries at all, but we are always happy to work with our faculty to see what is available.
Streaming Videos: More and more library vendors are now offering access to streaming videos, either for outright sale or through annual subscription. Faculty who are interested in including links to documentaries or other films in their courses can contact us to find out which items can be purchased by our library.
Journals: Journal subscription renewals and decisions about new journal additions are made in August, so we need your recommendations by July 30th. New journal subscriptions generally begin in January.
